Luxury cars are the leading segment
The luxury market in Poland is diverse, with luxury and premium cars representing the largest category. In 2023, the overall luxury goods market was valued at 42.4 billion zloty, to which luxury cars contributed with 25 billion zloty. The most popular, and therefore most frequently chosen and registered, premium car models were the Volvo XC60, Audi A3, and Lexus NX. The highest sales increase among luxury car manufacturers was recorded by Tesla, whose growth compared to the previous year reached a staggering 278 percent.Other key segments
While the car segment experienced the least growth compared to the previous year, other luxury sectors showed more substantial increases. Notably, hotel and spa services recorded the most significant increase in value in 2023. Moreover, luxury clothing plays a significant role in Poland's fashion market, accounting for over 62 percent of the entire clothing and accessories market value. The market share of luxury jewelry was dominated by precious jewelry, which amounted to almost 83 percent.Poland's luxury cosmetics and perfume market is poised for significant growth, with the segment's value expected to surpass 1.3 billion zloty by 2028. In the luxury spirits category, whiskey holds the largest share, at almost 90 percent. This overwhelming preference for whiskey in the high-end spirits category contrasts sharply with the overall consumption patterns in the country, where vodka and other spirit beverages remain popular choices among Polish drinkers.
