SMEs in the Benelux

SMEs, otherwise knows as kmo in Belgian Dutch, mkb in Dutch or PME in French, account for significant parts of the economies in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This report aims to provide an overview, as well as a comparison on these smaller companies for the three countries. What is the market size of small and medium enterprises in the Benelux? How much do they add to the economies in terms of employment and value? And in which industries are SMEs most likely to be found?
