VKontakte is a social network created by Pavel Durov and known internationally as VK. The company launched in 2007 and is headquartered in Nevsky Avenue in Saint Petersburg (Singer House). VKontakte is a mostly Russian-speaking social network that offers services such as messaging between contacts, news feed, community creation, synchronization with other social networks, among others.

Receiving up to four updates throughout the year, the report is based on data from the Global Consumer Survey, as of March 2023.
