Venture capital and private equity in the Benelux

Startup investments can come from many directions, with venture capital and private equity being some of the the more well-known options available. How does this market look like in the Benelux region? Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg each have different approaches to this type of corporate financing. Whereas Luxembourg's investment funds are at the heart of some of Europe's highest figures, the market in the Netherlands is more privatized and in the hands of private equity firms, whilst Belgium relies more on funds and private banks.
