Wildfires in the U.S.

Due to its vast forest area, the United States is no stranger to wildfires. Nonetheless, heatwaves and abnormal dry conditions, aggravated by climate change, have make such disasters more recurrent and stronger. This report provides an overview of wildfires in the United States. Included is information on numbers, acres burned, and the socio-economic and ecological effects of these fires.
