Intercity rail services in the United States

This report presents selected key figures concerning the intercity rail services and infrastructure in the United States. Providing an overview of ridership and passenger traffic on rail services in the United States, the report also gives figures on the government-owned railroad companies Amtrak and Alaska Railroad. These two railroads serve the intercity passenger rail system in the United States.
