Blockchain technologies and related services report 2016

This report presents the current state of blockchain technology and related services, based on interviews with Japanese and international companies and blockchain experts. Blockchain technologies are expected to be utilized in diverse fields, including supply chain management, the Internet of Things, and financial services and accounting. This report aims to compare and analyze details of blockchains and the advantages and challenges therein, explore promising fields in which the technology should be utilized, examine the impact of the technology on society and the economy; and present policy guidelines for encouraging industries to utilize the technology in the future.
