This report has been compiled to provide statistical information on the major central banks worldwide. The report provides an overview of the largest central banks based on total assets and international reserve assets. It also provides a ranking of central banks based on annual changes in international reserve assets. It then moves on to provide an overview of the interest rates set by major central banks, particularly in correlation with the inflation rate in the observed countries. The report also includes a chapter on the money supply in three major economies. Finally, the report provides an overview on the current developments of central bank digital currencies (CBDC).
