Long COVID in the United States

This report provides some of the most recent data relating to Long COVID in the United States. Long COVID, also known as Post-COVID Conditions, long-haul COVID, and post-acute COVID-19, refers to long-term effects and symptoms that some people infected with COVID-19 experience after their initial infection. Symptoms of Long COVID can last weeks, months, or years and can include, but are not limited to, fatigue, shortness of breath, and difficulty thinking or concentrating. This report presents data on the prevalence of Long COVID in the United States with breakdowns by gender, age, and state. There are also estimates for the number of deaths attributable to Long COVID, as well as the symptoms most commonly experienced by people suffering from the condition.
