Formed in 1999, the G20 consists of 20 of the world’s leading industrialized and emerging economies. Together, these 20 members account for 90% of the global GDP. In 2022, the population of the combined G20 countries amounted to approximately 5.1 billion people, which accounts for 65% of the world’s population. The number of large companies in the G20 countries is an indicator of its overall economic performance. Not only do these organizations provide jobs for the local market, but they are also able to achieve success in global markets, thus generating greater value.
