Gen Z and the housing market in the U.S.

Generation Z includes the people born between 1997 and 2012 or approximately 20 percent of the population of the United States in 2020. Having entered their twenties, some of the older Gen Zers have already left their parents' home. Whether they have decided to rent or buy their own home, one thing is for sure: in the coming years, the spotlight of the U.S. housing market will be on Generation Z.
