Over 4.9 million Ukrainians aged from 20 to 39 years received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of February 21, 2022. Furthermore, more than 4.7 million residents in that age group got the second dose, and over 156 thousand received a booster shot. To compare, the number of Ukrainians aged 80 years and older who received the second dose was approximately 278.9 thousand. In total, over 15.6 million Ukrainians got at least one COVID-19 vaccination dose.

* Additional doses were administered to those whose immunity got reduced to various reasons such as illness, and could be given 28 days after the first full vaccination course. For comparison, booster doses were administered 6 months after the first full vaccination course.
