Internet usage in Romania is characterized by a gap between generations. In other words, while the internet usage rate for Gen Z was 99 percent in 2023, their parents and grandparents who belong to the age group Gen X had a usage rate of 81 percent, although this gap is closing fast, in 2021 it was only 74 percent.
