U.S. shoppers' average spend over Thanksgiving by channel 2021
Over the whole Thanksgiving period in 2021, American shoppers planned to spend approximately 40 percent of their budgets in-store and 60 percent online. On average, shoppers in the United States planned to buy online the most on Cyber Monday: over one-fifth of consumers' total budgets would be spent on Cyber Monday deals. Respondents planned to spend the least on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
