In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding whether or not respondents across the Asia Pacific region shopped for the family more during the coronavirus pandemic, 22 percent of female respondents stated that they shopped for the family more. Comparatively, for the same survey 33 percent of the male respondents in the Asia Pacific region stated that they did not usually shop for the family, therefore, it did not increase.
