Malaria deaths in Haiti 2010-2022
A total of five deaths due to malaria were registered in Haiti in 2022. This represents a decrease of 68.7 percent compared to the 16 fatalities reported in the previous year. The number of malaria deaths in the Caribbean country fluctuated from the beginning of the decade, when eight casualties occurred. Haiti was also among the countries with the highest number of malaria cases in Latin America in 2022.
