Malaria cases in Brazil 2010-2022
In 2022, the number of malaria cases reported in Brazil amounted to approximately 151,530, down from 163,585 infections recorded a year earlier. This figure showed an overall decrease during the period analyzed, going from over 300,000 malaria cases in 2010 to nearly half that amount by the end of the period. Moreover, the South American country accounted for 27 percent of malaria infections in Latin America in 2022.
