Costa Rica: indigenous malaria cases 2010-2019
In recent years, the total indigenous cases of malaria reported in Costa Rica has been continuously increasing. In 2019, indigenous cases amounted to 95, an increase of 36 percent in comparison to the 70 cases registered in the previous year. Moreover, 45 malaria cases in the country corresponded to imported cases.
