With the rise of eCommerce as a first point for consumers, the supply for warehousing in the United Kingdom (UK) has continued to grow. During 2021, industrial warehouses accounted for approximately 61 million square feet in total. The East Midlands region saw the highest area of industrial warehouse take-up during 2021, with 21.1 percent, followed by South East and Greater London with 16.7 percent.
