In 2023, 2.2 percent of Muslim brides in Singapore were below the age of 21 years. Muslim marriages in Singapore fall under the Administration of Muslim Law Act. While this number has steadily dropped in the past ten years, it is significantly higher than that for non-Muslim brides.
