Fresh food purchase preferences in the Netherlands 2018, by age
The statistic displays the results of a survey concerning fresh food purchase preferences in the Netherlands in 2018, by age. The survey results show that as of 2018, the majority of respondents, regardless of age, preferred to find a balance between local, national and international brands when it came to purchasing fresh food. In 2018, the share of 18 to 24 year olds who preferred to buy locally or nationally was highest, at close to 25 percent, while just below 40 percent of respondents in this age group were inclined to purchase big brands instead.
