This statistic shows the results of a survey on actions that can be taken to achieve gender equality in Malaysia as of January 2019. According to the Ipsos survey, most Malaysian survey respondents, 81 percent, were of the opinion that introducing tougher laws to prevent violence and harassment against women is the most important action to achieve gender equality in Malaysia.
