As seen in the graph, 14 percent of the candidates had declared assets worth 50 million Indian rupees or more. About 33 percent of the candidates had declared assets less than one million rupees.

The 2019 Indian general election was held in seven phases from 11 April, 2019 to 19 May 2019, to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha (House of People). The data here represents details for phase one of the elections which were held on April 11 and will cover 20 states in the country.
