Use of BNPL payments in the last six months in Australia 2021, by generation
In a survey conducted in 2021 about credit card usage in Australia, 67 percent of respondents who were part of Generation Z said they had used buy now pay later services in the six months. Younger Australians were more likely to use BNPL as a method of payment when compared to older generations.
