This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in 2018 on children in Norway, regarding activities that their parents forbid to do on the Internet, based on gender and age. The category which came first as most commonly forbidden, according to ten percent of respondents was to use a social network. The categories which were least commonly forbidden was to use the internet for school work, read or watch online news, and spend time in a virtual reality, according to three percent of participants each.
