During the two periods surveyed, the share of respondents who were of the opinion that the state of the national economy of Indonesia is better now than a year ago increased in March 2019 to 39.4 percent, from 35.2 percent in December 2018. The share of respondents who think the state of the national economy is worse decreased in March 2019 to 18.5 percent from 20.1 percent in December 2018.
