This statistic displays the results of a survey about the impact of social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter on political diversity in Russia in 2018. According to the data published by Ipsos 58 percent of the respondents answered that social media channels gave a voice to people who would not participate in social debates otherwise, while 29 percent agreed that online discussions helped breaking down barriers between the public and people in power.
