The Submarine affair is as of March 2019 an ongoing corruption investigation against several close associates of prime minister Netanyahu, that they allegedly received illicit funds for approving the purchase of naval vessels and submarines from German shipbuilder ThyssenKrupp for the state of Israel in a multi-billion shekel deal.
