Only 1.2 percent of Russians regularly posted on Facebook in 2019. The highest share of regional population that actively used the network in question was measured in Moscow at 6.7 percent. In contrast, in Kaluga Oblast this share amounted to only 0.91 percent.

The source did not explain the methodology of region selection. The study was conducted including data on Crimea and Sevastopol.
