Gender distribution of social media users in Russia 2023, by platform
As of October 2023, the largest share of male social media users in Russia was recorded on X (formerly Twitter), while Facebook, Instagram, and VKontakte tended to be largely used by female users. TikTok presented the most gender-balanced active users' distribution over the period under consideration.
