This statistic presents the level of trustworthiness of social media sites according to adults in the United States as of November 2018, by gender. According to the findings, 13 percent of female respondents reported that they placed a lot of trust towards social media platforms. In comparison, eight percent of female respondents stated the opposite, by having no confidence at all in the trustworthiness of social media sites.
