The total current education expenditure value of public tertiary education institutions in Turkey consistently went up from 2011 to 2022. In 2022, the figures peaked at 143.5 billion Turkish lira. This was approximately 128 billion Turkish lira more than in 2011, which was the year that the lowest value of current education expenditure recorded during the period in consideration.
