Sports fans use a variety of different online platforms to catch the highlights of their favorite sports team. In an August 2024 survey in the United States, over two-thirds of respondents stated that they followed sports on live TV. Meanwhile, over 60 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 followed sports on social media.
