Leading men's outerwear companies in Italy 2018, by sales revenues

In 2018, OVS S.p.A. was the leading manufacturer/distributor of men's outerwear in Italy in terms of sales revenue. According to the data provided by Competitive Data, with sales revenues of almost 1.7 billion euros, OVS S.p.A. is also among the leading clothing and apparel company in Italy also for women and kids. Following closely in the ranking came OVS S.p.A. and Giorgio Armani S.p.A, which reported 1.5 and 1.5 billion euros and 1.4 billion euros in sales revenues, respectively.

Prada Group

The Italian fashion group is active in the manufacturing and distribution of luxury goods such as leather goods, clothing and accessories, as well as footwear. Leather goods were the product category that generated the highest net sales. When looking at the geography of Prada’s sales, it can be seen that Europe was the largest market for the company. In fact, net sales in the Old Continent reached a value of approximately 1.2 billion euros in 2018.
