According to a survey carried out in Brazil in 2019, the frequent use of condoms in the country was more common within the younger adult population, as opposed to older populations. While more than three in every ten respondents aged 18 to 29 stated always using condoms during sexual encounters, only over one in every ten did so in the group including those aged 60 years or more. However, even in the youngest category, over a third of interviewees admitted never using condoms.
