As of September 2021, Domtar was the largest producer of uncoated free sheet (UFS) paper in North America, with a 35 percent share of supply. Sylvamo followed with a 28 percent supply position. Uncoated free sheet paper is a grade of printing and writing paper which has little to no mechanical pulp, and is used in the production of office papers.
