Global Generation X online access rate 2015-2017, by device
This statistic presents the percentage of Generation X who access the internet worldwide from 2015 to 2017, by device. In 2015, 90 percent of global Generation X respondents reported that they used their PC or laptop to access the internet, while by 2017 this value had decreased by 14 percentage points. In 2017, only 76 percent of respondents reported to accessing the internet with their PC or laptop, while in comparison 86 percent of respondents stated to having used their smartphones.
