Turnover of the solid biofuels industry in the European Union by country 2022

Sweden was the European Union member which generated the highest turnover within the solid biofuels industry in 2022, with almost 5.9 billion euros. Following, Germany and France generated the second and third highest revenue, at roughly 5.6  and 4.6 billion euros, respectively. The leading three countries combined generated almost 40 percent of the entire EU-27 revenue. In that year, turnover of the biomass industry in the EU amounted to 36.1 billion euros.
