Public opinion on returning to spas after COVID-19 in the UK 2020
The health and wellness industry was severely impacted during the coronavirus pandemic as gyms and spas were forced to close to avoid the general public mixing in large groups. Despite the close proximity to others that a spa visit requires, a survey of spa goers in the United Kingdom in 2020 suggested that many were eager to return to their health spas. Some 48 percent stated that they would go back straight away, while 36 percent stated that they would return within a couple of months of the spas re-opening.
