This statistic shows the result of a survey on the share of overnight stays in Svalbard, Norway in 2017, by type of tourist. Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. Most of the domestic tourists, reaching a share of 63 percent, stayed for 3-4 overnight stays in Svalbard. This period was also preferred by tourists from abroad, amounting to a share of 45 percent.
