According to the results of a survey conducted in Singapore from the end of January to February in 2021, 20 percent of respondents in Singapore in age bracket 18 to 24 years, indicated that they trusted social media as a news source. By comparison, 14 percent of respondents between the ages of 35 to 44 years indicated that they trusted social media for news.
