According to a survey conducted in South Korea in early 2024, around 19 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 24 years stated they paid for digital news in the previous year. While willingness to pay was fairly low across all age groups, it had increased across all age groups compared to the previous year. On average, 15 percent of respondents were willing to pay for digital news.
