Furthermore, the rennet of Grana Padano has animal, plant or bacterial origins, while the rennet of Parmigiano Reggiano had only animal origin. They also have difference in the aging, the percentage of fat and in the use of preserving agents.
Trentingrana is a grana hart cheese belonging to the PDO Group of Gran Padano. Its main characteristic is the production zone (Province of Trento).
