WhatsApp usage for news in Argentina 2024, by age group

As of February 2024, 44 percent of the internet users surveyed in Argentina aged 55 years and over stated that they accessed news on WhatsApp. Among respondents from the 18-24 age group, the share stood below 20 percent. The reliance on Facebook as a news source in Argentina was also lower among internet users aged 18 to 24.
