In 2021, internet surfing and network communication were the most common computer skills acquired by high school graduates in Italy. Furthermore, 65 percent of students could use some presentation tools, while 54 percent knew how to use operating systems. Assisted designing and databases were less known fields among upper secondary school graduates.
Computer skills of upper secondary school graduates in Italy 2021
The count refers to all students with or without computer skills. This statistic depicts the share of students who had at least "good" skills in the given fields.
Data were acquired in two ways: 1. students took part to a survey answering a questionnaire, 2. school documents were consulted in order to gain information about gender, age, grades, citizenship, school credit, and type of diploma.
