The Marmara region had the highest wind power capacity share as of January 2023, at nearly 44 percent. The Marmara and Aegean regions, combined, held some 75 percent of Turkey's wind power. By comparison, the Southeastern Anatolia region had the smallest share of wind power in Turkey, at 1.07 percent.
