The Marmara region had the highest wind power capacity share as of July 2021, at 40 percent. Marmara and Aegean regions combined, held some 75 percent of Turkey's wind power. By comparison, East Anatolia Region had the smallest share of wind power in Turkey, at 0.63 percent.
