Number of suicides in Cuba 2012-2020
In 2020, approximately 1.55 thousand lives were lost due to suicide in Cuba. This is an increase compared to the year prior, when about 1.46 thousand people in Cuba died from intentional, self-inflicted injuries. That year, over 772 thousand psychiatry appointments took place in the Latin American country.
