Daily time spent on TikTok in Poland 2021

TikTok is an online platform, initially launched in September 2016 in China, promoting video sharing among social media users. In 2021, TikTok was a highly engaging app for Polish users. The highest share of respondents — 31.5 percent — spent more than two hours per day using it.

TikTok’s popularity in Poland

    As social as TikTok gets, most of Poles discovered the short video creation and sharing app through their friends. As well as watching their friends’ content, the app users also enjoy watching popular TikTok creators attempting various challenges and showing off their dancing skills. The app users are also likely to browse the TikTok stars’ recommendations for new content. Finally, the video-sharing app is extraordinarily engaging, considering that most of its users check it more than ten times a day.

Teenagers or TikTokers?

  The video app is most popular among Polish teenagers aged 14 to 15 years old.  Clothes, snacks, and makeup are the leading types of items on which young TikTokers spend their money in Poland. Nevertheless, games are also popular among teenage app users, considering that a typical Polish TikToker spends their  free time mostly online. When it comes to food and drink preferences, the app users strongly enjoy consuming Tymbark beverages and eating out at McDonald’s.
