Frameline LGBTQ Film Festival movie and country numbers 2016-2019
The Frameline Film Festival is the first and oldest film festival dedicated to showcasing LGBTQ cinema in the United States, and was founded in 1977. It is also the biggest film event of its kind in the word, with tens of thousands of attendees each year. Held in San Francisco, the festival was originally known as the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival, and runs to a schedule that coincides with San Francisco's Gay Pride Day in June each year.
