According to a survey about the digital lifestyles among Indians as of May 2019, it was seen that over 59 percent of the survey respondents obtained movies or television shows by streaming them online. This figure stood at just over 53 percent in 2018, indicating that streaming digital content is becoming more common across the country each year.
Improving internet reach and speed might be the reasons for this change.
